November Turkey Trot
This Thanksgiving marks the 33rd Annual Turkey Trot. It was started when Margaret Mikol, SKIP’s co-founder and Executive Director, discovered that some of our families did not have the resources to celebrate Thanksgiving. And that remains true today. Nearly 80% of the families SKIP serves live at or below the poverty line and are simply unable to purchase a turkey.
