Benefits:
Workweek: We have a 37.50-hour workweek.
Flex time. 8:00am to 9:30am Monday through Thursday. Friday is 8:00am to 9:00am only. The office closes at 5:00pm on Fridays.
Health care: Currently SKIP pays the entire premium for employees only. If an employee chooses to add their children or spouse, the employee pays 100% of the premium for their dependents.
Health care insurance include:
Aetna for downstate employees (NYC office)
Univera for upstate employees (Buffalo, Rochester, Painted Post offices)
All offices have Guardian for Dental and Life Insurance
All offices have vision offered through Guardian at full premium cost to the employee
PTO Time: Employees begin their employment accruing 17 days PTO time. Employees can start taking their PTO as it is accrued.
Holidays:
SKIP of New York provides 10 Observed Holidays and 2 Floating Holidays. Floating Holidays must be taken during a calendar year or forfeited and must be taken in full days.
